All non A2 students are expected to take part in at least one teacher-led ECA. Clubs are run by staff, students or external providers. Many are free but some specialist clubs entail a small charge. Most ECAs take place within the college though a few different ECAs offer different opportunities to students. They may help with physical fitness or they may help to maintain an active mind. There are opportunities for team building and leading groups. Some of the clubs also open the door to travel abroad and to competing or cooperating with other schools within China and abroad. ECAs involving Art and entertainment often lead to a performance or exhibition.
