G1 Physics field trip at Guangzhou Science Center
2017-05-22

[SCIE web news, May 22th, 2017] On May 18th , Thursday, all of the G1 students attended our first Physics field trip of our G1 year. After 2 hours of driving we arrived at the Guangzhou college city and also where the Science Center was situated.

The building was shaped like a sphere, which I think was representing the Earth. It was a very big science center indeed. The Guangzhou Science Museum was the biggest science center in Asia. First our teachers gave us a worksheet contains lots of questions that we could answer it as we exploring each exhibition area. In my point of view, it presented some knowledge and phenomena that we couldn’t usually see in school but it could really apply to our everyday life.

We also learned a lot about LED light. The difference between LED light and other normal light caused the advantage of using the LED light.

At the end, I think we all had a great time by seeing a lot of things we normally couldn’t see and spending a whole day with our friends. Also, I was really grateful that our Physics teachers could organize this meaningful field trip and designed a worksheet to let us not only playing and seeing the whole demonstration but also learning from this interesting experience.
