SCIE Dominates 2025 University Admissions Season

In the 2025 application season, SCIE once again delivered an impressive set of university admissions results, not only maintaining the school’s longstanding record of excellence but also achieving breakthroughs across multiple dimensions. 

With outstanding performance in both the UK and US application tracks, SCIE graduates have truly shone on the global stage.

As of May 15, 2025, according to preliminary statistics, 450+ graduates of SCIE’s Class of 2025 have received over 2,000 offers from universities in the UK, US, Hong Kong (China), Canada, Australia, Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Among the 330+ UK applicants, 41 students received conditional offers from Oxford and Cambridge. More than 70% of UK-bound students secured offers from G5 elite universities, totaling 409 offers, while 95% received offers from Top 10 UK universities, with a total of 859 offers.

For the 210+ US applicants, the results are equally remarkable. 17 students received 18 offers from Ivy League and Top 10 universities, including Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Duke, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Wellesley, and Swarthmore60% of the students received 244 offers from Top 30 US universities, and 95% gained 651 offers from Top 50 universities.

Notably, SCIE students performed well across all admission tiers—from Ivy League and Top 10, to Top 20, Top 30, and Top 30–50 institutions—demonstrating not only SCIE’s ability to support top achievers, but also its strength in empowering the broader cohort of US applicants.

To date, 71 students have received 92 offers from universities in Hong Kong SAR, with 95% admitted to one of the Top 3 universities. This includes 55 offers from the University of Hong Kong (HKU)27 from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and 10 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

Among them, 2 students have been admitted to the Faculty of Medicine of HKU and CUHK, respectively, while 6 other students have received offers from the law schools of the Top 3 universities in Hong Kong. The admission results in Hong Kong are still being released, and we are looking forward to more good news.

In the Canadian track, over 30 students have received offers from the University of Toronto, McGill University, and the University of British Columbia (UBC), with an admission rate close to 100%.

In Australia, 7 students were admitted to the University of Melbourne or the University of Sydney, also achieving a 100% acceptance rate.

Meanwhile, SCIE graduates continue to expand their global presence. Impressive offers were also received from top universities in Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, and France—including the University of Tokyo, the University of Amsterdam, and École Polytechnique.

These diverse admission results highlight the global recognition and broad applicability of the A Level curriculum. With the continued development of our AP program, SCIE will provide even more academic pathways and application options for future cohorts.

In terms of academic majors, SCIE students have again shown strong performance in STEM disciplines. In addition to traditional strengths such as natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering, many students are preparing to pursue cutting-edge fields such as aerospace engineering, computer science, materials science, artificial intelligence, and data science.

Economics and finance remain popular choices, with students receiving offers in economics, economics & finance, actuarial science, financial management, and banking & international finance.

In the humanities and social sciences, many students successfully gained admission to highly selective, interdisciplinary programs including PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics), law, philosophy, social sciences, psychology, and international relations, continuing to expand SCIE’s academic horizons and shaping diverse possibilities for the future.

Beyond the offers from HKU’s and CUHK’s Faculty of Medicine, students have also been admitted to medical programs at Imperial College London, the University of St Andrews, Queen Mary University of London and the University of Exeter.

Additionally, 1 student received 2 offers from the Royal Veterinary College, ranked No.1 globally in veterinary science. Many others have received offers in Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience, Cancer Biomedicine, and Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences, setting out on their journey to explore the life sciences.

Standing at the threshold of a new chapter, the Class of 2025 is ready to step into the next phase of life. We look forward to seeing them continue to chase the light on a broader stage.
