SCIE G1 Year-End Celebration and Awards 2024–2025

June marks the beginning of summer, a time of harvest, and a starting point for new journeys. On June 13, 2025, G1 students and teachers gathered in Halo Theatre to celebrate the end of the 2024–2025 academic year with a formal yet warm End-of-Year Ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Henk, Head of G1, with Principal Mr. Neil Mobsby presenting the awards. Mr. Mobsby and Mr. Henk reflected on the progress and achievements of G1 students over the year and praised their efforts.

Mr. Henk also took a moment to highlight the recently concluded G1 Week— an interdisciplinary week filled with engaging activities organized by different subject departments. The Maths Department challenged students with a creative “paper roller coaster” project. The Economics Department ran a trading game, and the PE Department hosted an exciting archery competition, while other departments also offered interactive and creative sessions that blended learning with hands-on exploration.

G1 Week not only enriched students’ knowledge in a fun environment, but also added a vivid exclamation point to the end of the academic year.

During the awards segment, Mr. Henk announced the top three students in each subject and overall score categories. Principal Mr. Mobsby presented certificates and trophies to the winners, accompanied by enthusiastic applause and cheers.

To all the award-winning students—your dedication and persistence throughout the year have truly paid off. Your achievements are not only well-deserved but also a source of inspiration for your peers.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the teachers and parents. Your continuous support, guidance, and encouragement have played an essential role in helping our students grow and succeed.

With the successful conclusion of the Awards Ceremony, we are about to welcome the summer holiday. May this holiday be a wonderful time for everyone to relax and explore the world.

We wish everyone a happy summer holiday. We look forward to meeting you again in the new semester to meet new challenges and opportunities together!
