Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards 2025 – SCIErs Achievements

Pleasant news arrives with the autumn breeze. In the recently released June 2025 Cambridge International examination results, students at SCIE have once again demonstrated exceptional academic prowess, achieving brilliant success in the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards.

Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are a group of awards issued by Cambridge International Education, that recognize exceptional achievement in Cambridge exams around the world. These awards aim to encourage and recognize students who have outstanding achievements in Cambridge International Examinations.

In the 2025 Cambridge International examinations, 49 students from SCIE received Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. This includes 33 ‘Top in the World’ awards, 11 ‘Top in China’ awards, and 5 ‘High Achievement‘ awards.

This remarkable achievement marks the 18th consecutive year that SCIE has ranked first nationally in these awards (excluding 2020 when international exams were canceled due to COVID-19). Over these 18 years, SCIE students have amassed an incredible record: 210 ‘Top in the World’ awards, 218 ‘Top in China’ awards, and 51 ‘High Achievement’ awards, totaling 479 awards.

In 2025, SCIE students excelled across diverse subject areas including Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences,  Languages and Arts, fully showcasing their academic strength and well-rounded development.

Mathematics & Sciences: Demonstrating Depth of Rational Thinking

In Cambridge Mathematics, 31 SCIE students earned ‘Top in the World’ awards, including those in the highly challenging AS Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics subjects, continuing SCIE’s traditional strength in mathematics. 

Furthermore, students achieved Top in China awards in both AS and A Level Biology, demonstrating solid foundational knowledge in the life sciences. 

These accomplishments are not only a testament to the students’ solid academic abilities but also strong evidence of the robustness of SCIE’s mathematics and science teaching framework.

Humanities & Social Sciences: Showcasing a Compassionate Understanding of the World

In the humanities and social sciences, 5 students received ‘Top in China’ awards in subjects including Geography, History, Psychology, and Sociology, reflecting their profound understanding of humanities subjects and critical thinking skills.

Languages & Arts: Building Bridges of Communication and Creativity

SCIE students also shone brightly in languages and arts. In languages, 8 students demonstrated outstanding performance and exceptional cross-cultural communication skills in subjects such as English Language, English Literature, French, Spanish, and Chinese. 

In the arts, students were recognised for their unique creativity and artistic expression in Art & Design, Music, and Drama, highlighting the diverse talents nurtured at SCIE.
