GIV(E) in Action
SCIE Global Citizenship
A self-determined journey toward evolving global awareness and sustainable action
GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AT SCIE
Global citizenship at SCIE is lived through experience. It takes shape when students collaborate across cultures, engage thoughtfully with their community, and recognise how their actions influence the world around them. Whether they are leading service activities, participating in theme activities, connecting with partner schools, or reflecting through the GCA programme, students learn that they are part of something larger than themselves. Each opportunity invites them to broaden their perspective, strengthen their character, and develop the skills needed to contribute positively to an interconnected world. Here, global citizenship is not a concept – it is a self determined journey students actively shape, reflect on, and carry with them as they grow.

Service Learning and Community Engagement
SCIE students engage with the world beyond the classroom. Activities such as service-learning projects, community partnerships, intercultural exchanges, and student-led initiatives demonstrate our students’ commitment to contributing positively to their local and global communities.
Themed Activities, Awareness Campaigns and Sustainability
Our themed activities and awareness campaigns are designed to inspire students to think critically, act responsibly, and engage meaningfully with global issues. Through hands-on experiences, cross-curricular projects, and community-focused initiatives, we empower learners to connect classroom knowledge with real-world action. This space showcases how our students develop their skills such as problem solving, creativity, communication and critical thinking. These activities nurture a generation ready to lead positive change.
