Sourjya holds a Master’s in Biotechnology and a PGCE from the University of Nottingham and is currently undertaking NPQSL training. He served as Head of Faculty for Natural Sciences at Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou, with leadership experience spanning China, Indonesia and the UAE.
Sourjya’s teaching practice draws on Rabindranath Tagore’s philosophy of holistic, creative learning and Lev Vygotsky’s focus on social interaction and scaffolding. He aims to build inclusive, inquiry-driven classrooms that nurture curiosity, collaboration and independent thinking, empowering students to achieve academic success and develop into globally minded individuals.
