On November 23, SCIE (Shenzhen College of International Education) was delighted to host its first-ever Open Day, welcoming prospective students and parents to experience the unique atmosphere of our classrooms first hand.
Two weeks prior, as soon as the event registration was announced, all 400 available spots for the two sessions were fully booked within just one hour, reflecting the tremendous enthusiasm from the public. SCIE were delighted to be able to offer a well-planned open day and have the opportunity to engage in discussion with prospective parents and students.

The Open Day was divided into morning and afternoon sessions, featuring 12 thoughtfully designed routes guided by teachers and student volunteers. These routes ensured every visitor developed a holistic understanding of what it is like for students to study at SCIE and what makes an SCIE education different. Tour guides were on hand to explain 4 key messages of an education at SCIE. These being a Mastery of English at First Language level, Lessons which go beyond the text book, developing foundations for success for higher education and beyond and finally the importance of students choosing their courses wisely from a diverse offering.






Subjects Exploration
The Visual and Performing Arts Faculty transformed its spaces into hubs of creativity and movement, featuring four dedicated areas: sports, art, music, and drama.
In the gymnasium, activities like frisbee and pickleball captured the audience’s attention.
The Art Department displayed students’ creations, complemented by insightful explanations from teachers.
In the Music classrooms, teachers introduced the music curriculum while student volunteers performed live demonstrating their exceptional talent and enthusiasm.




After the academic and artistic experiences, visitors gathered in the campus garden, where representatives from various student clubs enthusiastically introduced SCIE’s dynamic extracurricular activities.
