Dear students and parents,
The first-round entrance exam of SCIE 2023 will be held in the morning of March 19th. All candidates are required to attend the written test in person at SCIE campus.

Due to the limited number of test seats, the school expects to close the registration on March 10th. Candidates who haven’t registered yet are urged to do so as soon as possible.
Candidates who have registered, if they need to adjust the exam session due to personal reasons, please call Admissions Office before March 10th, otherwise it will not be possible to adjust.
Admissions office suggests that candidates can register for the first-round exam first. If they are admitted, they don’t need to take the exam again. If they fail the first exam, they can decide whether to register for the second-round exam on May 28th after the results of the first exam are announced.
Regarding the exam arrangements, the following three changes need to be noted:
1. The written exam includes English and Mathematics. Due to the increased duration of 10 minutes for the English reading part, the total duration of English exam has increased to 145 minutes, and the start time of the mathematics exam has been delayed by 10 minutes. Therefore, the lates exam schedule is:
English: 8:00-10:25
Mathematics: 10:55-12:05 (Art students don’t need to take the mathematics exam)
2. The announcement of the written test results is postponed to March 25th (Saturday), and the written test results and interview arrangements will be announced on the candidate’s homepage at that time.
3.The interview time is postponed to March 26th (Sunday). Candidates who are shortlisted for the interview need to participate in the online interview according to the interview time and interview link arranged on the candidate’s homepage. The art student who has successfully passed the prescreening of their portfolio and English test is scheduled to attend an off-line interview on April 1st.
The school will release the detailed guidelines for the exam one week before the exam, please pay close attention to!
