On January 9, 2024, the University of Oxford announced its undergraduate admissions results. 16 SCIE students received conditional offers from the University of Oxford in the UK. SCIE still maintains the first position in Oxford admissions in China.

The majors of SCIE students still remain diverse. The dominance of STEM fields continues, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Material Science, and Computer Science. Among them, Tony Wu was accepted into the highly competitive field of Mathematics and Computer Science, which has a very limited acceptance rate each year.

In the humanities and social sciences, SCIE students also achieved remarkable results, including majors in Psychology, Economics, and Languages. Chloe Guo received an offer from one of Oxford’s most popular and competitive majors, Economics and Management. Sophia Li was admitted to the prestigious PPE (Politics, Philosophy, and Economics) program, which is regarded as one of the top programs in the humanities and social sciences.

Congratulations to the students who received conditional offers from the University of Oxford. We also look forward to hearing more good news from the Class of 2024!
