[SCIE web news, March 13th, 2017] It was a Saturday, 4th March. With the sunset going down to the west, the annual weekend activity for boarding students began.
At the canteen door, the teachers, who had prepared all foods and tableware in advanced, called students to join in this “self-sufficient” cooking time.
Before the hot ovens, students and teachers were roasting chicken wings, kebabs and eggplants. The rising smog was a reflection to this hot and lively atmosphere.
In the canteen, there were many foods there, Jiaozi, Fuzhu, Meat ball and so on. And there were also various sauces and jams from different places. Students had their gourmet's luck and saved energy for the coming two week’s mock exams.
The dinner party lasted till the sky became dark. Thank the school and the teachers, for their preparation and organization of this activity, which added some vigor and passion to this normal weekend.
It is hoped that more activities like this could be arranged in the future so as to enrich our weekend lives.
